Dr. Nguyen is a physical therapist and the founder of Specialized PT Solutions. He has earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from San Jose State University in 2003 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Chapman University in 2006.

In 2008, he completed the Folsom Physical Therapy Long-Term Orthopedic Physical Therapy Course, a yearlong intensive manual therapy course, which was instrumental in his professional development and treatment of spine disorders.
In 2009, he was certified by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). His interest in golf, wanting to help golfers improve their swings and prevent injuries has motivated him to learn more and became Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified in 2017. In 2018, he became certified for both: as a Instrumental Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) specialist and a Clinical Instructor.

Dr. Nguyen had his own rehabilitation journeys and successfully came back from two separate anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears and reconstructive surgeries. His personal experiences provided him with valuable insights, and allowed him to help his clients with a great deal of compassion.

In addition, he has spent his entire career in the bay area, which has allowed him to become familiar with a vast number of local physicians and surgeons.
As an orthopedic specialist, Dr. Nguyen has demonstrated knowledge, skill, and experience exceeding that of a general physical therapist in the orthopedic setting.

His professional interests are using his knowledge to help people live active lives, educate and help his clients prevent injuries, and how to best and successfully recover from any injury.
When not at work, he likes to spend time with his family, and occasionally plays golf, basketball, hikes, camps, fly-fishing, and tinker with DYI projects.
